A mountain lion found dead on a scenic California highway was likely struck by a vehicle, according to wildlife officials. The lion was struck by a vehicle about 8:30 p.m. on Monday near Highway T and Old Highway 100, about 45 miles west of downtown St. Louis along Interstate 44. The photo, submitted to The Richwooders site by a third party, and we could not confirm whether or not it was killed by mountain lions.
